Stand By Your Man

While Mr. Nonn refuses to answer questions, Mrs. Gillies continues to stand by her man.  Here is her question, clipped from a FB page moderated by Mrs. Gillies (taken verbatim from her post):

Each day, this gets more ubsurd. Just give Tim Nonn, the duly elected board member, an aide of his choosing. In no way should he have an aide chosen by the district who is a current employee and untimately reports to the Superintendent. Janet Lowery is a well respected former teacher and community member. It is very simple and does need litigation which could use up to 300,000.00 in general fund money. Money that must go to classrooms. Just do the right, moral and human thing. On a side note, why should a board member and superintendent be at odds over this? The superintendent works for the board, not the other way around. Why would three board members object? Just ridiculous!

I wonder if Mrs. Gillies remembers this message (posted on the FB page moderated by Mrs. G.). Mrs. Lowery is the wife of beloved (cough) high school teacher Lanny Lowery:

Anyone else feel like they had to quickly bathe last night after Haley's attempt to white wash the last 5 years of his reign over the district? Notice did you, that when the issue of certificated specialist personnel needing to still be hired, Leff Brown raised a question, as he knows that the reference was to the position of school psych. Psychs have left this district in droves. Haley shut Leff down so fast it and with such a tone making it apparent that Special Ed remains a thorn in Haley's side and that of the district.
